Ground Bees Have The Ability To Bite
Ground Bees
The ground bee is known as a solitary bee. This means that each female bee digs her own burrow when nesting. However, they still often congregate and build numerous nests in any areas that are suitable for nest building.
Ground Bees usually inhabit their nests from 4 to 6 weeks and have been known to leave unsightly markings on lawn and will actively forage in search of nectar and pollen.
The most common types of ground bees are the alkali bee, the bumble bee and the mining (or digging) bee
